About Kate Coldrick

Elswyth is the work of Kate Coldrick - a writer, educator, and photographer living in Woodbury, Devon.

Her work moves between learning and landscape, between the classroom and the quiet field. She writes about inclusion, literacy, and neurodiversity in education, and about the ways attention and belonging take shape in words, voices, and places.

Across her websites - katecoldrick.com,  On the Skyline, and Substack - she explores how we learn to see and to speak: how difference, silence, and understanding are woven through both teaching and art.

Elswyth continues these threads through image rather than argument: a photo journal of stillness and endurance, of light and texture and the slow persistence of things made by hand.
It is, like her teaching and writing, an act of attention ... a way of holding space for what endures.
